Beacon is a free, open-source, self-hosted tool that shows you the gap
between your sitemap and Google’s index. It runs on your machine in
Docker, uses your own Google credentials, and gives you the answer to
“is Google actually finding my pages?” in under two minutes.
Beacon Cloud is a hosted version coming later — for users who’d
rather not run Docker themselves. It will add:
- Scheduled weekly scans (no need to run it manually)
- Email/Slack alerts when index status changes
- Multi-property dashboards for agencies
- Schema/DOM validation
- Historical scan comparison
This page is the waitlist. Subscribe and you’ll be the first to know
when Cloud is ready to test. No commitment, no spam, no pressure to
upgrade — local Beacon will always be free.
